Bike Fitting

Body Geometry is the most comprehensive system for connecting bike and rider in perfect harmony. Body Geometry Fit is ergonomically designed and scientifically tested to maximise power, endurance and comfort through a systematic customisation of your bike and equipment at all three contact points.

When to get a fit?

A fit can be requested at any time, however some ideal times to fit your bike with Body Geometry are:

When buying a new bike.

This ensures your bike is well suited to your body and fits you appropriately from the start.

When setting new goals.

During a time of increased training, a fitting is effective to reduce chances of injury, increase bike efficiency and also attain the most out of your bike for optimal performance.

When your fitness has improved.

Following a major fitness or flexibility improvement, a BodyGeometry Fit analysis can ensure your body is still adequately suited to your bike, granting a continuation of performance and maximized comfort.

What happens during a fit?

A Body Geometry fitting session typically takes a few hours and is a personalized, one-on-one consultation with our trained Body Geometry Fit specialist, Justin. These sessions need to be booked in advance either via email, over the phone or in store. A session will proceed as follows:

  1. Pre-fit interview and flexibility assessment
A specialist will first inquire about your riding experience and goals, as well as evaluate your strength and flexibility.
  2. Fitting Products
Your specialist will use specific equipment to determine the most effective products needed at the contact points of you and your bike; the Feet, the Seat, and the Hands. These products include shoes, footbeds, gloves and saddle choices.
  3. Ride Analysis
A visual observation will take place whilst you ride, where the BodyGeometry Fitter will adjust your riding position according to personal efficiencies and comfort.
  4. Follow up
After the final evaluation, a follow up discussion will be scheduled to review your adaptation to the bike, answer any questions or concerns as well as make any required adjustments.
